“To honor, to have and to hold……” Marriage vows are not to be taken lightly. Marriage is so important to God that He compares it to His relationship with the church. That’s intimate! Marriage IS NOT just a piece of paper. It is a covenant. It should demonstrate God’s love for His church. God expects us to honor Him by honoring and loving our spouse well. So even when I don’t want to, “I DO!”
