We are quick to use popular and catchy statements and phrases; however, this doesn’t mean that they are appropriate in every context. One in particular, “God knows my heart.” This is often used when someone is trying to get out of doing something or doesn’t want to be held accountable. Notice I said, “often” as it is not “always” the case. However, to those using the statement with poor intentions, be careful what you say!
